Accessibilty by boat — private, rented or tour — is a must to these islands, then admission is $2.50  for enjoying these Florida state parks in the Upper Keys.

* Indian Key Historic State Park, Mile Marker 85.5, 305-664-2540 , accessbile by canoe or kayak.

* Lignumvitae Key Botanical State Park, MM 78.5, 305-664-2540, accessible by boat or tour boat. Tours are offered 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Tours are $2 for adults and $1.50 for children over 6. For information about the park, phone 305-664-2540

Boat rentals and tours are available from Robbie's Marina,  mile marker 78.5, 305-664-9814.
