Free New Year’s Eve Festivities

The Florida Keys is hopping for New Year’s Eve.

Among the highlights are Key West-style take-offs of the iconic ball drop in Times Square.

These include
— Sushi, a female impersonator, swoops into midnight riding in a glittery red high heel at Bourbon Street Pub/New Orleans House, 724 Duval St., 305- 293-9800.

— A giant conch shell drops to the roof of Sloppy Joe’s Bar on Duval Street, 305-296-2388, ext. 12
