Free environmental workshops

The Green Living & Energy Education Expo will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at Marathon High School. It includes free workshops and more than 50 exhibitors of services and products that save money and natural resources.

Environmental groups also will providing latest information, and thre will be 30 free workshops on topics ranging from solar photovoltaics to reducing energy bills, to organic gardening and how to harvest rainwater. 

The expo includes kids’ activities and healthy organic foods. Don’t miss the free Earthman Project multi-media event, the Alternative Transportation Showcase, Environmental Film Festival and recycled and sustainable art in the Artists Village. Click here for the complete Expo schedule.

A tour of green homes will be offered on Sunday, March 29, with sign-up at Saturday’s expo.
