The annual free Florida Keys Health Fair will take place at three locations from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24.
Doctors and students from the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine will screen for diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, vision problems, obesity, depression, osteoporosis and HIV, plus colon, breast, cervical and skin cancer. Free health evaluations for children are also part of the fair.
Screenings will be at Fishermen’s Hospital, 33001 Overseas Highway (Mile Marker 48.5), Marathon; Big Pine Methodist and Baptist churches, 280 Key Deer Blvd.; and Key West High School, 2100 Flagler Ave.
