Home Depot stores offer free hands-on workshops for kids.
The free workshops are offered between 9 a.m. and noon, generally the first Saturday of the month.
The free kids’ activities are intended for youngsters ages 5 to 12, and provide information about tool safety and do-it-yourself techniques.
