Pets are the highlight of a Fantasty Fest event.
The Pet Masquerade and Parade is October 24. The event is free for spectactors.
Participants vying for prizes pay a fee. Some works in elaborately costumed groups of people and pets and perform a skit.
Registration is at 4 p.m. for participants and the event is at 5:30 p.m.
The event is as Casa Marina Resort 1500 Reynolds St., Key West.
Various Fantasy Fest events are free.
