Maybe you’ve heard of “Christmas in July.” Amazon is celebrating “Black Friday in July” with Amazon Prime Day. On July 11, 2017, Amazon will offer tremendous savings on more deals than on Black Friday. These deals will be for Prime members only.
The “one-day-only” thing isn’t quite precisely true. The Prime Day deals start 9 p.m. ET on July 10. As often as every five minutes, for 30 hours, new deals will become available.
Voice shopping for Prime Day Deals start two hours earlier on July 10. This is exclusive to Prime members who own Alexa-powered devices such as the Amazon Echo or Echo Dot. Need one? You’ll find all sorts of Alexa devices here.
During the 2017 Prime Day, it will be easier than last year to find items by category and you’ll be able to search by interest such as Home Chef, Pet Lovers Techies or Outdoor Adventurers. Amazon also promises that they’ll stock more inventory on the hottest deals.
Don’t wait until July 11. Starting July 5, there’s a week of pre-Prime Day deals. Visit the Prime Day site to get deals every day.
Amazon Prime members receive a number of benefits including free 2-day shipping, streaming of over a million songs, TV shows and movies on Prime Instant Video, unlimited photo storage, 500,000 free ebooks, and more. It costs $99 a year. However, you can get a free 30-day membership. After those 30 days you’re free to cancel and there will be no charge. Right now is the best time to join, so that you’ll be ready for Prime Day on July 11, 2017.
